About me

Hello, I’m Rob Rafferty and I am running for Mayor of Lino Lakes.

Here is a tidbit about me. I was raised in Roseville and attended the University of Minnesota, North Dakota State University and Moorhead State University. I’d been with Rafferty Rafferty Tollefson Lindeke Architects since 1978 and have been part owner and Director or IS since 1995. In summer of 2018 the firm was purchased by Architecture Advantage of Duluth and is now transitioning to the roll of Senior Technician.

I have been married to my best friend Amy for 30 years and we have 2 wonderful children James and Julia. We built our home in the Community of Pheasant Hills Preserve in Lino Lakes 1997 and I have been involved in community affairs ever since.

I believe that I have the experience necessary to lead the city of Lino Lakes as we face future challenges and opportunities. I want to continue our city on a path to healthy, family friendly prosperity that makes this a great place to live, work and raise our families.

Frankly, I’m not a politician. I’m just a guy that very much cares for family, friends and the place my family calls home - Lino Lakes.
